I am very much looking forward to my year as District Chairman, especially visiting all the Clubs in District 25. It is going to be an exciting time with the Association Conference in Belfast and the Convention in Kota Kinabalu – how lucky I am.
My chosen Charity is Sussex & Surrey Air Ambulance. It is a fast, reliable emergency service funded entirely by public donations. A new base opened at Dunsfold Park near Cranleigh in June 2007. This emergency service is covering both counties and has a crew of highly trained pilots, doctors, and paramedics.
