A Lancastrian by birth, I have lived for forty years in Sussex, where Bob and I raised our three children, now all married with seven sons and now one granddaughter born on August 31st, 2007, between them. I am a mathematician, a magistrate of thirtytwo years standing, and have a keen interest in singing and music generally. I really enjoy being in the District Choir and wholeheartedly admire Eve Pearce’s patience with us all when we are having more fun than time rehearsing!
I am a member of Hove IWC, a large club with a wide age range and the members know how to work and play hard! The club has supported me very well during my time on the District Executive Committee, first as District Editor, then Chairman and Extension Organiser.
Now, as Member of Council, I will try to be an effective link between members and Association. Do contact me if there is any aspect of Inner Wheel you want to discuss. An important part of my work which I share with the other members of the District Executive Committee is to support the clubs in District 25 in whatever way I can.
