Chris was born in London and spent her childhood and young adult life in Wembley. She married John in 1969 and set up home in High Wycombe. John, Chris & their two children moved to Midhurst in 1981 where she soon became involved with running the local Guide unit and taking on the task of District Treasurer.
Chris joined the Inner Wheel Club of Midhurst & Petworth in 1994 and has served the club as OSO, Secretary and President. When she became a member of Inner Wheel it was somewhat reluctantly but Chris has not regretted it as since joining the Rotary family both Chris and John have made many good friends. Her interests include walking, reading, gardening and playing golf.
