My early years were spent in Worthing where ballet was my early ambition. However I moved on to pursue a career in advertising which took me from London to Germany and then America. Finally I returned to London where I met my late husband Frank, Head Teacher and Rotarian and we commuted from Surrey. Editorial Research completed my career and I joined Oxted & Limpsfield Inner Wheel Club, becoming President in 1998, our 50th Anniversary Year.
Overseas Service has been a major interest since visiting projects in India and Africa with Frank when he was a UNICEF executive. Other interests include singing, painting, walking holidays and producing for Oxted Country Market.
Having just retired as a school governor, I now hope to rise to a new challenge, that of District Overseas Chairman. Wish me luck!
