I was born in north west London and brought up in Dorset. I spent twenty nine years as a secondary school teacher, both in England and abroad, before taking early retirement in 2000. George and I married in 1972 and have two sons and one grandson. George joined the Rotary Club of Lewes in 2001 and I was persuaded to join Inner Wheel in 2002. I served as President of the Lewes Club from 2005 - 2006.
As well as enjoying the friendship and fellowship of Inner Wheel, I am Chairman of the Seaford Residents' Association and Lewes Ladies Luncheon club.
My aim this year is to produce informative and enjoyable communications and I am sure that I will find it most interesting to keep abreast of developments in District 25.
