We were dazzled by Jill's cheerful painting of ordinary gardening objects like pots and watering cans which had a transforming effect. We were also struck by her wise advice never to underestimate the transforming power in peoples' lives of a kind word or a hand on the shoulder or some little caring gesture in our ordinary daily contacts.
